Safeway offers super savings “Just For U”!

Store savings has reached an all-time high at Safeway with the release of their new savings program, Just For U. If you have not been in the store lately or checked out their website, you are missing out on saving your family lots of green at the checkout. This exciting new program offers you exclusive coupons, personalized deals suited to your shopping habits, and a stream lined way to take advantage of their weekly club savings. You may even find a FREEbie or two in your account as an extra bonus just for being a member. Coupon Center: You can now add special coupon savings directly to your existing Safeway Club Card. Some of these coupons will be for a specified item at a discount price or will be just like a regular coupon for a dollar amount off of an item. The best part is, you won’t even have to clip the in-ad coupons anymore. They will be right there on your card and will automatically deduct themselves at the register. Don’t forget, you can combine an in-ad coupon that you put on your card and a manufacturer coupon on the same item for double the savings! The coupon center also offers you the use of clip less manufacturer coupons, but please keep in mind that you are still not able to use two manufacturer coupons on a single item. That is definitely a BIG no-no and will not be allowed by the store or the manufacturer.

Personalized Deals: Safeway now offers you deals tailored to your already established shopping habits. For years now, Safeway has been tracking your purchases via your club card and has now come up with a way to offer you specialized savings based on your history. This means they that they know you love their produce section and can now make sure to give you exclusive coupons for that department. I have already received a special $3 off $10 produce purchase coupon and exclusive savings on particular fruits and vegetables, like pineapple at only $2.49. So if you frequently shop for diapers or household cleaners, look for those special offers in the Personalizes Deals section and load them right to your card before hitting the store.

Club Card Savings: Like I said earlier, you can now add the weekly club specials right to your card. That means no fussing with the in-store ad or clipping those tiny coupons and trying to remember to hand them over to the cashier. They will even have additional club savings NOT found in your weekly ad. Plus, you can create shopping lists based on the in-store ad and print your list of coupons that are stored on your card. This makes all of your savings more clear, precise, and organized when you hit the aisles on your next shopping trip.

Safeway Smart Phone Application: Safeway offers you an on the go savings opportunity with their new smart phone app. You now have an easy and convenient way to check your coupons, find new savings, and even create a shopping list all from your phone in the middle of the store. You could even create a shopping list and send it off to your spouse so they know exactly what needs to be picked up at the store. I think I will be using this last feature A LOT, no more excuses from the hubby not being able to remember what we needed at the store. Plus, he won’t even have the chance to fumble up the coupon savings, they will come right off of the card without him even knowing he was used them. Safeway has really thought of you when creating this app., it even comes complete with free in store Wi-Fi.
